What government rebates are available?
Each state has it is available rebates along with the federal. The Australian governments rebates are commonly known are STC's (Small-scale Technology certificates). These are calculated based on location and system size. STC's can also be traded so the value of each certificate varies day to day. Expect to recieve between $2-5k back depending on system size.
Solar Victoria currently has a means tested $1400 rebate along with a $1400 PV loan and a $8800 battery loan, each paid off over 4 years. Only approved Solar Victoria installers like ourselves are able to offer state rebates. Its best to purchase as soon as possible as the above rebates all have a set amount of allocations and is set to reduce on release of each later allocation.
